53180 (talk · contribs) - A down to earth editor, my goal is to make articles clean, well-organized, grammatically correct, and especially concise. The amount of edits may be low-only because I preview articles multiple times before saving them. My biggest problem on Wikipedia is images; I am working on becoming better at that with the help of other editors.
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: My one major intention is making sure Wikipedia is save from nonsensical editors.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: My best contributions to Wikipedia are cleaning up articles and making them concise and organized. I like to take the most important information to the article and make sure that is what is the focus of the article is (i.e. either removing un-useful or integrating useful trivia sections into the article). Also, some information on one page may be better suited on another page, so I integrate information that is un-useful in one article and put it to use in a more fitting article.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I have been in conflicts over editing in the past but I asked for help from administrative editors and other editors and the problems were either permanently solved or at least kept at bay. Conflicts have absolutely never caused me stress, of course it can be so mind numbingly annoying at some points, but at the end of the day it's just Wikipedia, and problems in Wikipedia shouldn't cause stress, so in a situation like that I try as hard as I can to fix the disturbance but if I can't I wait until the next day to see if the problem has been resolved.
